The series serves as an ode to the DMT experience, a profound state in which the boundaries of perception dissolve, revealing intricate and often indescribable truths. The name itself is a play on the experience of Dimethyltryptamine (DMT), with the acronym subtly embedding this connection within the title.
Each piece in the series starts with a single Sinhala letterform, representing a point of origin from a tangible, cultural tradition. These forms are then transformed through an AI generative process, which mirrors the visionary unfolding of consciousness when touched by psychedelic states. The transformation of these letters is akin to how the mind reorganizes and reinterprets reality under the influence of DMT, where the known world gives way to realms of surreal landscapes, otherworldly beings, and complex geometries.

The series is structured around 15 Sinhala letterforms, with each letter serving as a distinct portal into the exploration of mystical landscapes. Through a combination of manual artistic techniques and AI-based generative processes, these letterforms are deconstructed and re-imagined into 25 unique panels each, resulting in a total of 375 individual pieces.
Each panel reflects a fragment of the larger mystical truth, containing elements that range from organic landscapes to humanoid beings and machine-like structures. These pieces are intentionally layered, presenting visual metaphors for the underlying structures of reality—structures that transcend the physical and venture into the metaphysical and existential.
The dithered pixel art technique used in this series emphasizes the idea of dualities: the seen and unseen, the tangible and intangible, and the conscious and subconscious. The "dithering" process symbolically conveys the interplay between clarity and obscurity, mimicking the way visionary experiences can reveal profound truths in fragmented, often elusive forms.
